Summary
He must be on his way to the Garden, where he would be judged. False prophet, liar, disappointment, fool who split the faith and made its holiest mark a joke, traitor who spat on the River before failing to take even a single sodden step out of its embrace, even now, dry as a raisin but trapped on a boat.
Takes place post-finale. In which not even drowning can free him from the river: Faulkner wakes up after his death, upon a small wooden boat, borne by the currents.
