Summary
The former head of the House of McLaren has suddenly married a Spanish duke and left poor Oscar, the newly titled Earl of McLaren, scrambling for a spouse. It’s such a shame that while well-titled and wealthy, the young earl doesn’t possess the social grace that would make one successful in the marriage market. Meanwhile, The House of Mercedes’s grandchild, Logan, was unsuccessful during his first social season and now enters this one in hopes of finding love. Though considering his parent’s and grandparent’s love story, he might have better luck being single.

“See, I knew you could do it.” the younger whispered down into Charles’ ear and he grinned.
“You’re right, you won, Logan. Now…” Charles took his hands off the piano and reached back to touch Logan. He trailed his fingers over Logan’s hands to grab the ends of the silk and Logan let go. Charles removed the blindfold from his eyes and turned to face the American, “what is it that you want for your prize, bello?”
“Hmm…what do I want?” Logan pretended to consider but failed at hiding his smile. He brought his hands down to rest on the sides of Charles neck, thumbs grazing his jawline.
“Anything you want.” Charles mirrored his grin and grabbed Logan’s waist, pulling him in close to stand between his spread legs.
“Anything?”
“Anything, bello.”

Logan “coincidentally” runs into Charles, wtf happened in the bathroom? Oh and a blindfold.

“Sorry Lando isn’t here and that he didn’t tell you he wasn’t going to be,” Logan finally says.
Carlos waves him off. “Sorry about your five-minute stomach flu.”
The elevator doors open and Carlos doesn’t exit. Logan feels like he has to say something, but he doesn’t know what. Carlos didn’t look upset, just quietly neutral. If he was doing the same mental gymnastics Logan was, it didn’t show on his face. The weight of the cans is starting to cause some strain on his arms, reminding him how much alcohol he bought himself for his “quiet night in.”
“Do you want to hang out?” Logan asks Carlos.
