He wanted to yell at Todoroki for not being more careful and getting injured, but there would be no point in that if he didn’t remember the incident. Bakugou wanted to wrap his arms around Todoroki and never let the idiot out of his sight again. Being hugged by a stranger would be weird, though, so Bakugou refrained.
They stared at each other.
“So, do you remember me or not?” Bakugou asked, more gruffly than intended, but his nerves were eating at him. He wanted to be an exception, for Todoroki to look at him and remember that he loved him, even if his memories weren’t intact. That was beyond wishful thinking, so the thought was discarded as quickly as it had popped up.

Sure, Enji had gotten better over the years, but bitterness struck through Shouto in an instant. It didn’t feel like his win as much as it felt like his father’s. In the end, he did exactly what his father wanted him to do, and it ate him up more than he wanted to admit.
Was it wrong for him to want a lower ranking?
TL;DR Shouto thinks it's a great idea to fake date Katsuki so he can lower his fan popularity and get a lower ranking.
