If he had been negotiating this contract, he would have at least offered something in the way of restraint for how Iedhelaran could treat him — if only to give it up, in order to… Astarion didn’t know. Be loaned out for less time? Be able to acquire more victims? Something.
But what he would do didn’t matter. Astarion knew very well that he would always be the possession to be bartered, not the one doing the bartering.

You and Astarion spend your first Lover's Day together, and both of you try to outdo one another in the depravity of your gifts. Each of you have plans for the dirty present you've given your lover, and the night ensues with a fair bit of enjoyment. This is my first attempt at writing a more submissive/switch vibe of Astarion.
