Chan looks—Chan looks unsettled, of course he's unsettled, no one expected this, no one expected him to present as alpha, as something with snapping teeth and blood on fire. Maybe—as omega, maybe beta. Chan maybe expected it the least, maybe the most. He'd looked at him with surprise, then with fear, then with moment-flash desire, then with—

or: Jeongin presents. Chan tames him.

    Summary

“Okay,” Jisung finally says, face splitting into a wide smile. One that still feels a bit dusty but he remembers all the same.

“That’s all it took?” Minho laughs, and it's high and sweet. Not sinister at all. Not even a trickster, just a man on a mission. Determination running rampant through him. “I was ready to beg.”

Jisung is almost one hundred percent sure there is no way he will ever be able to transmute what Minho wants him to, but he’ll cross that bridge when he gets there. For now, he will wade in the joy, the feeling of something new approaching him for the first time ever.

“So, where are we going?” Jisung asks, unable to keep the excitement from his voice. “Hell?”

    “Worse,” Minho shudders. “Palm Springs.”

(OR: Minho is on a cross-country mission to rescue his brother, and Jisung might be the only magic user who can help him. It’s the road trip of a lifetime.)

    Summary

It was hard not to stare – Jisung was desperately fighting the urge to leisurely drag his eyes over the man beside him. One hand on the wheel, the other on the back of his seat’s headrest. Golden light poured through the car window, viscous and glittering across smooth skin. Sharp bones cast deep shadows across his face, as did the long eyelashes that dusted the tops of his cheeks. The space between them was small and powerfully electric. Every nerve fiber across his skin was poised and ready to fire at the smallest movement of the other’s body. He was breathtaking, and Jisung was beginning to loathe the relief that comes with the bitter return of oxygen.

“Are you religious, Jisung?” His eyes stayed on the road as he spoke, voice as impassive as ever. His brow twitched when his question pulled a scoff out of Jisung.

“Not even a little,” he replied. “I think religion is nothing more than mythology. People just need to have explanations for shit they don’t understand.”

Minho hummed to himself, a slow smile spreading across saccharine lips.

    “Mythology, interesting.”

Jisung didn’t believe in higher powers, but there was something unnatural happening in Seoul.
