Summary
Loki was still seething when he strode into the clothing store. He simply could not believe he'd had his best suit ruined by some clumsy teenager and their mocha latte three days before the most important business meeting of his life. His hands trembled with the need to grab someone by the throat or break some offending object. Other than that, his affected demeanour was as poised as always. He strode to the counter past multiple clothing racks that smelled like stifling weddings and pretentious cocktail parties.

Mobius stared at the backs of his eyelids in quiet amusement. They were glowing red. He'd forgotten that's what happens when the sun's shining on your face and you close your eyes to feel its warmth on your skin on a lazy summer day. It was something he’d never had the chance to appreciate.
There was, of course, no sunlight at the TVA, and if they ever visited a timeline on a mission there wasn't exactly time to sit around and appreciate the little things. Not that there was anything ‘little’ about the sun. No, according to Mobius, the sun was the best thing about being on a timeline.

Mobius wanted to keep his head on straight and give Loki whatever he needed right now but his heart was being pulled apart. He was confused, worried, relieved, and overcome with yearning all at once. It didn’t help that Loki looked, by some miracle, more attractive than he’d ever looked before.
His curls were a greasy mess and his sweat-soaked shirt stuck to him like a second skin. His slacks looked ready to rip at the seams at the slightest movement. His strong forearms were exposed and his long fingers were digging into his own hips. Mobius snapped out of his daze when he realised he was staring. He glanced up at the god from the corner of his eye to see if he’d been caught.

Summary
It had been two standard months since the pruning door had been set up in the former auditorium. It had been one standard month since a centralised appointment reservation system had been set up to prevent overcrowding at the End of Time. By now, it was common practice for TVA employees to block off a fifteen minute appointment slot for a meeting with the God of Time.
It was, however, very uncommon for anyone to block off five consecutive appointment slots twice a week, and that was why Mobius felt like an outlaw for having been doing exactly that for the past month.

He swallowed thickly. This was going to be a long meeting.
OR, While at a very important meeting, Mobius can't help but daydream about his first time with Loki the night before. It's not his fault that Loki is sitting across from him, and his entire existence is distracting.
