“Has anyone ever told you that you’re the worst kidnapper, in like, the history of kidnappers?”
“I fail to see why one would disclose that particular piece of information.” Rosalie deflects. Rolling her eyes as she glides gracefully to grab a glass and a clean plate from the cupboard.
“Which part? The kidnapper’s name, or you being a terrible kidnapper?” Bella retorts.
“Neither” Rosalie replies, unenthused. “Now—“ She says pointedly, eyes cutting to the girl on the floor. “Are you hungry?”

A child with tired eyes. A bright smile. And a beautiful soul.
Pneumonia.
Bella read stories from books to him, a whole week before he died. He was old enough to have rathered spend time playing games on his iPad, or kill time watching other kids play video games on Youtube.
He listened to Bella intently, every-time she came into his room. Eyes alight in wonder and acknowledgment of her efforts, all the same.
And when he died—Bella was there, along with his teary eyed family, to hold his hand as he transitioned to the afterlife.
So when Rosalie finds Bella in the on-call room, balled up on the floor, withdrawn into herself, eyes staring vacantly into the sterile white wall in front of her—not even having heard or acknowledged Rosalie’s entering of the room—
The blonde resident decides, right then and there as she crouches down next to the shrinking, taciturn doctor—that this just won’t do.

Rosalie grits her teeth at the errant flick of graphite she accidentally scrawls onto her notebook paper.
“Do me a favor, Addams. Drop dead, yeah?” She uses the pads of her fingers to hold the sheet down as she erases the imperfection. Then she flicks her pinky and ring finger against the parchment in a swift motion—swiping away the shredded pieces of flaked rubber.
“This is the part where I would say ‘You first’, but I’m afraid you’ve already beaten me to the punch.” The long, curly haired raven retorts.
“Bite me.” The vampire spits back.
Wednesday smirks from the table behind her, chewing the tip of her eraser.
“You returning the favor?”
Still facing forward, Rosalie grins. All shiny, glittery, white, porcelain teeth.
“I will rip your spine out, and feed it to you.”
Wednesday whistles lowly, thrumming her free hand in an offbeat tempo on the desk..
“Just what my wet dreams are made of.”

Her head pulls back abruptly from your neck and she narrows her eyes.
“Are you fucking Wick?” She accuses. You know it’s something she’s been dwelling on – the look of concealed hurt and jealousy in her eyes.
“No, I’m no-” You’re cut off again by the alpha, and letting out another loud moan in the process as her thrusts get a little harder. Your eyes roll into the back of your head.
“Is that how you made it through your heat?” Her eyes flash dangerously, a low growl emitting from her chest.
You shake your head vigorously, trying to convey to her that no, you’ve never had sex with Wick – you’re not having sex with Wick. (You actually really want to have sex with her right now.) Before you can try – and fail – to get out your response, she’s grabbed your right leg and put it on her waist as well—
“Mine.” She whispers in Trigedasleng against the skin of your neck, but you don’t understand what she’s saying. You never took the same time and interest to understand the language like she has. Like she did for Lincoln. Like Clarke has for Lexa.

"Kara," Lena frowns. "It's like six seconds of licking my neck, it's not the end of the world."
'But i'm a vampire', Kara wants to say out loud, except that gives them a bad reputation. Really, she should say, 'but i'm in love with you. i've loved you all along and Jesus christ this is pushing me over the edge', but she can't get those words to formulate for some reason, so she goes with, "I just don’t think it's the best idea."

This moment is one she will spend her life looking back on, at times rueing and others thanking a giving and kind God for.
