Donnie's head shot up from the rim of the bathroom sink. The tiny stool he sat on toppled over as his body jerked awake, sending him careening for the bathroom floor.
"Ouch!" Donnie rubbed the side of his shell as he pushed himself up, "So much for keeping watch."
Donnie's gaze turned back to the bathtub. Leo lay there, motionless, skin pale and marred with various colors.
"I'm sorry Leo..." Donnie sighed as he lifted himself up, "I really am. Just wake up again will you?".
