Childe felt a piercing headache. His skin felt like it was ripping at the seams, which it sort of was. Blood dripped from every part of his body, his own mixing with the victims before him.
Times like this always brought him back. When his head was foggy, and all he could smell was iron, there was only one thing on his mind. That thing, the cause of his bloodshed. That thing only made him itch to kill every moving object in a twenty mile radius.

Poe was so excited for this date. They’d officially started calling it that now. He had wanted to see a movie to try and get some creative influence for his novels, and he decided to ask Ranpo to join him.
He stood outside the theater. The movie was going to start in about twenty minutes. He always liked to get in early, but he knew Ranpo sometimes lost track of time.
Ranpo had said his schedule was clear, did he get assigned to a case? Whatever it was must have been pretty important. Or… maybe not. Poe would probably blow himself off if he was going on a date with himself, too.

If Oda didn’t know any better, the cat looked disappointed. Oda stood and walked to stand next to Ango. Ango was sleeping, which was good, but sleeping here is probably not ideal.

Gin smelled something. It smelled good. Her stomach growled. It had been a while since anyone in their group had gotten good food…it wouldn’t hurt to glance, right?
Gin snuck her way between two crates and saw some food left on a table in the open. That was fairly suspicious. Who, in an area like this, would leave food out? She could practically hear Ryuu nagging at her to leave, they’d find more food elsewhere.

Diluc had never considered himself much of a religious man, even before finding out the Anemo archon was in fact an alcoholic bard.
His father hadn’t been all that religious either, and while he’d educated Diluc on the topic to ensure he’d be able to make his own choices, the idea of worshipping some grand being had just never appealed all that much.
Which might beg the question as to what Diluc was doing in the hands of the Anemo archon statue at this late hour.
A sleepless night perhaps, filled with nightmares during the brief moments he found himself closing his eyes. It wouldn’t be the first, and it most certainly wouldn’t be the last.
There was definitely some truth to it, but it was more likely Diluc would have just thrown himself at his paperwork and called it a night if that were the case.
The real reason he found himself standing atop the statue, was the fact that it was his birthday tomorrow.

Or: Venti is a better archon and friend than Diluc usually gives him credit for, and he appreciates it.
