Summary
Tory doesn’t care about university, she really doesn’t and Sam knows this because she was there when Tory refused the GED course and college scholarship in Minnesota post Sekai Taikai victory. Tory was right too, university isn’t right for her, it’s not what she wants or what she needs and maybe people need to stop caring so much about furthering education on the only basis of validating their intelligence. Tory’s smarter than half of the people Sam meets every day in class, she’s got more drive, a quicker wit, and she’s just so smart. Sam, on the other hand, has never felt more herself than making stuff with her hands and the absolute joy she’d felt when her mini propeller plane had lifted off the ground at MIT's first-day demonstration had erased any doubt she had left of her place there.
With all of that in mind, there is not a single reason why she and Tory are on opposite debate teams.

She takes Kreese's offer and follows him to Korea to meet her new team. She has no plans to make friends.But the best things come unplanned. Yoon Do Jin wasn't part of the plan.
Yet, he makes sure she's okay, that she's okay and more importantly that she's here to win Sekai Taikai

Summary
“You see, I’ve thought this through. I have some ideas to make it more interesting.” Terry folds his arms and rests his chin on his fist, giving the appearance of control, but inside he is vibrating with anticipation. “I think you’ll like this. We’ll take it in turns to hold each other’s head underwater.” He smiles.
John has a fixed expression, refusing to show what he thinks of Terry’s plan.
Terry starts to pace, not taking his eyes off John for a moment. “I’ll let you go first, of course. That would only be sportsmanlike. So,” he stops and points a finger at John, “you choose an amount of time, and then you hold me down until the time is up, to make sure I don’t cheat.” He starts to pace again, aware of John’s eyes following him with the most disdainful look. “Then, we switch places. After that, you choose a longer amount of time and we repeat, until, well,” he pauses, then laughs, “until the competition is over, one way or another.”

great emotionally frustrating old geezers and their young new audience member turned participant turned victim (kidding, but am i really? find out february 13th, with s6p3!) bang it out, in the HOT TUB!!! uff, this is all flavors of great character analysis thru sex - john with terry and all the pent up frustration of time apart and words unsaid, terry and wolf and their dynamic of devotion and loyalty but also his using of wolf as a rebound for john, and john and wolf learning to find each other in the tangled mess that is their relationships with terry silver... i'm so here for this messiness. ruff ruff RUFF. IRONCOBRAS!!!!!!!!!!
