When his father died two years ago, he’d left Marc enough money to start a new life, a good life. But he’d put conditions. Until then the money was held under his mother’s control.
Nine months and that wouldn’t be true anymore.
The money and his freedom had been all Marc had asked for in exchange for some kid to replace Randall.
