a few things before the recipe. I don't mind if you get inspired and decide to make works based off my silly nonsense (whether that's fanart, your own take on my silly nonsense, or translations of my silly nonsense), i'm cool with that. and since AI is a thing now, I guess.... if you feed my work into an AI machine I will find you, unhinge my jaw, and swallow you whole like an anaconda. don't.

I've written so many of these stupid things. Anyway, I write the fanfiction. Been doing it awhile. I'm on other sites as Noacat. Decided to try a new user name thing. That's fun. Here's a recipe for brownies, because I don't want to write these anymore.

1/2 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon double-acting baking powder
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup oatmeal

Set oven rack to upper middle level. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9- by 9-inch baking pan. Melt together in a small saucepan the butter and brown sugar. Set aside to cool slightly and while it cools, sift together into a separate bowl the flour and baking powder.

Beat egg and vanilla into butter mixture. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture. Fold in oatmeal. Pour into prepared pan. Bake brownies on upper middle rack at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool on a wire rack, cut, and serve. Makes 1 dozen bars.
