Summary
Ryusei kind of thinks he should have paid more attention in biology class. Sure, it was fun, and blowing stuff up was fun, and learning that cells dividing was called cleavage was fun, but lectures weren’t his thing. But he wishes he paid more attention, because he seriously, one hundred percent, completely, right now wants to know exactly what it is that’s stopping him from having two-point-five kids with Sae-chan, getting married, dying in an explosion, and living happily ever after together (not in that order.)

Summary
He lost track of time on how long he's been staring, observing. It mustn't be that long. If the boy’s disheveled look and overall demeanor haven’t already perfectly spelled DANGER bold and capitalized, the way he returns Sae’s gaze by raking his eyes over Sae up and down with a curiosity of a cat definitely will do. It doesn’t help either that the other boy seems to throw all manners of subtlety out of the window.
A fleeting thought comes to mind—a decision: Sae is not afraid of him.
Ryusei and Sae bump into each other in the principal office for entirely different reason.
