Genesis choked on his spit. Zack made a loud, confused sound. Angeal tilted his head a little to the side; as if unsure he had heard it correctly. Sephiroth didn't move an inch and remained impassive. He was actually frozen in place.
"Beg your pardon?" Genesis seethed dangerously, in a low, sharp voice.
"…A what?" Zack said at the same moment.
The president was perfectly unbothered. He looked back at them and repeated in a calm, indifferent tone : "An omega. A service omega, to be more precise. Hojo has convinced me it will be beneficial for your pack. To take care of your ruts."
"I am taking care of their ruts!" Genesis barked as his palms collided with the table in front of him. The wooden surface made a dangerous cracking noise.
"You are infertile. Spending their ruts with a defective omega doesn't work good enough. The ruts are too long and too frequent. They are clearly not satiated. A service omega will be more efficient and get them back on the field faster. We have found one with particularly nice assets. He is ideal. He will be delivered to your unit tonight."(spoilers: AGSZ are not happy about this. Cloud is very much not happy either.)
