“They deserved it for what they did to you. You did nothing wrong. You just... exist. And they kicked you out for that. And I... I’d go to hell, kick Satan’s ass and claw my way out. All of that just for you. Because you deserve it”, he suddenly raised his voice. “Because I love you. Because I’d do anything for you. And I don’t care how you’ll react”, he argued, before I could even say anything, “because I didn’t do it to get your approval. I did it because I wanted to. I did it because you’re someone worth fighting, no, killing for”.
He went silent for a few moments. Then sighed.
“I’ll understand if you hate me”.
I made a step towards Mr. Sunshine and wrapped my arms around him. He breathed out, seemingly surprised by my reaction, and hugged me back.
“It’s alright”, I said. “I’m always there for you”.
