Summary
Never in her wildest dreams would Clarke have ever thought the night shift would cause Gus’s kindergarten teacher to think she was trying to kidnap her own son.

Summary
“For the last few months we’ve planned and we’ve strategized and we’ve negotiated and made peace, and now that everything is fine and we’re not fighting for our lives, it’s like you want nothing to do with me. Six years, Clarke. I went six years without my best friend, my partner, and now I have you back, and you’ll barely look at me.”
It’s enough to make her lose her composure. “I don’t have you back!” she shouts, and the way his face crumbles is enough to bring tears to her eyes. He takes a step back, away from her, but she keeps going, needing to finally get this out. Needing to say everything that’s been building up inside her from the moment she saw him with Echo, goofing around and standing close, whispering to each other next to the fire. “You can’t come home with someone else and then expect things to be the way they were before.”

“Bellamy,” she whispers.
“Make me a nightblood,” he says, pulling away from her, and pushing the sleeve of his hazmat suit up, extending his now bare forearm. “Make me like you.”

Summary
The first time he hears her voice on the radio, Bellamy thinks he’s dead. He thinks they must have never got the oxygen turned on, or figured out how to make food. He thinks the ship they launched in must have failed and this is his punishment for every wrong decision he’s ever made. Not even in death does he get to be with her. Just her voice on the radio, torturing him because he left her to die. Grainy, mangled, but still. Her voice. He’d know it anywhere.
“Bellamy…” the radio crackles, and he stares at the little box residing in Raven’s workroom. They’ve been on the ring for ten days now and there’s no way she survived. So really, he must be dead too.

Summary
It’s basically the worst thing Clarke has ever experienced, going from seeing her best friend every day for practically her whole life to an entire year of only getting text messages, emails, and grainy Skype calls.
It also doesn’t help much that absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder, and she’s nowhere near getting over being in love with him.
“What the hell are you doing?”
“I thought it was pretty obvious,” Clarke huffs, tucking the end of the sheet in between the cushions. “I’m making up the couch so your brother has a place to sleep when he gets here.”
Octavia huffs right back and rolls her eyes. “Yeah, because he’s totally gonna sleep there.”

Summary
Clarke Griffin was born in space, where her life had been mapped out for her: become a doctor like her mother, be a dutiful daughter and friend, match with a partner and have a child, so the human race could continue to live.
It had been an easy life to contemplate, because there were no choices. There was only one path for her to follow, and only one life.
Being branded a criminal and being sent to the ground changed all of that.
Finding out there were people alive on earth changed it all again.
Suddenly she was free.
Suddenly she was faced with thousands of choices, very few of them easy or simple.
Except one.
