Flayon squawks no he's not defensively and Hakka says, through an incredulous chuckle, what the fuck are you talking about, dude and it does make you finally stop tapping absently at the game on your display and pay full attention to the conversation at hand. They're both looking at you like you're a little stupid and, fine, often enough they'd be right, but you're not taking the L on this one. Absolutely not.
Because it's obvious Shinri's always been a little sad, and that's not on you if they can't see it.

A few minutes ago, he was standing outside with Altare, hands interlaced with each other as they gazed up at the starry expanse of the night sky. Every second of it was intimate, just basking in the moonlight’s glow while all the other boys slept away in their tents. The camping trip has been fun so far, but this was a moment they could have to themselves.
And damn did they make it a night inside Axel's car.

The last part is a lie, but Hakka smiles widely for the first time that night. He smiles, vibrant and alive.
