Summary
Tears started to well up at the corner of his eyes and he made an effort to blink them away before they could fall - why they formed was a question for him to answer another time. All he knew was that he wanted to cry at the sight of something that used to be so natural to him so many years prior to today, and he wasn’t sure why. It bothered him a little, but he decided to make it the least of his problems today.
What he needed to figure out now was how to get close to the moon, as soon as humanly possible.
