Summary
This wasn’t a common occurrence. Richie normally got the name and photo of his hit, not just an address and guarantee that they would be there. He also never took a job from a major multi-billionaire before. And the address was an abandoned warehouse in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere. Still, it sounded more like a set-up than a job.
But Richie had nothing to lose. He was miserable and looking for an excuse, a way out, anything to be done with this “career”.

Summary
Richie awoke to darkness, but it wasn’t the darkness of his apartment. In fact, there was nothing around him. It was black everywhere, but seemed wide open and endless. When he took a step, he heard and felt his bare feet slosh in a thin puddle of water, that seemed to coat the whole floor. Wherever he was, it was silent. Every sound he seemed to make would echo somehow bouncing off the outer edges of the space around him.

Eddie always assumed something was wrong with her. Guys could come so easily, she knew that, and she knew that the female orgasm was not a myth - she had many on her own - but she never thought having them with a partner was feasible. She was too fucked in the head, she decided that she would never get over her debilitating anxiety and racing thoughts and that that was okay seeing as she was forty and in a nearly sex-less marriage. But now there was Richie and fuck, all of her teenage hormones reignited. Could be that she is hella fucking gay.

Summary
Eddie has a surprising amount of muscle definition going on in the forearm region. Jamie has witnessed, on four separate occasions, someone do a double take at Eddie’s forearm. Karen from HR still bears the nickname ‘Mugbreaker’ after Eddie turned the corner near her office, coming face to face with her just as he rubbed a hand through the hair at the nape of his neck, exposing the wiry flex of muscle between wrist and elbow, and Karen famously dropped a cup of coffee all over the floor. Ergo, either Eddie goes to the gym, or he’s on steroids.
Eddie is the kind of man who keeps a makeshift itemised medicine cabinet in his third desk drawer, with a padlock on the handle, the key for which he keeps in the inside pocket of his suit jacket, and who administers a library style check-out system of medication whenever anyone asks for a Paracetamol.
Eddie is probably not on steroids.
Eddie's coworker finally convinces him to bring his elusive spouse to an office party. It goes about as well as you might expect, which is to say spectacularly.
