Summary
As Alicent passed by a pillar, she felt an abrupt movement and quickly turned– not fast enough, as she found herself constricted, her arms tightly held behind her back and a body pressed against her. Panic arose in her chest, thinking how fast her Kingsguard could reach her if she screamed. That thought was quickly discarded when she saw the blade of a knife approach her and press lightly against her throat.
Swallowing loudly, she said: “My Kingsguard is just behind that d–”
“Why did you do it?” A familiar voice interrupted her.
Alicent froze. The shock of listening to that voice sent her thoughts into a frenzy she couldn’t make sense of. How was it possible for Rhaenyra to be here? Why was she here?
“Rhaenyra,” she choked out. “What are you doing here?”
In the aftermath of Lucery's death, Rhaenyra infiltrates behind enemy lines to give Alicent a piece of her mind.

Summary
Cytherea took a moment to really observe the woman before her. Mercymorn always wore a calcified mask of distaste on her face, to the point where you couldn’t differentiate the woman from the mask. But in this moment, the mask was maybe a little bit cracked, and she was intrigued about what lay behind. Not vulnerability or softness in any sort, but something peeked, a thread of a particular intensity. She wanted to pull and pull and see the other end.
Mercymorn confronts Cytherea about her attitude. They fuck about it.
