There is a quirk to the God’s lips. A slanted edge of curiosity. He hums noncommittally, eye trailing over the lines of Lucerys’ face. Studying him. And whatever he sees, he must like because then his hand is climbing further along Lucerys’ arm. Higher and higher and higher until there’s a thumb ghosting against his bottom lip. The touch is oddly gentle, a sweeping caress, one that falters as it reaches where his lips begin to part and slides wetly between them.
Lucerys’ tongue darts out instinctively, swiping against the pad.
“I wonder if you taste as sweet as you look,” Aemond says contemplatively, almost softly.
The words steal the air from his lungs. Dragging it all out in one wrenching tug.
Gods be good. He made it sound as though… as though he would eat him.
— Or, Lucerys is the sacrifice that Aemond finds waiting for him at the altar. Aemond does as he pleases with the Omega.

Lucerys swallows his confusion, lets it stew in the pit of his stomach. Feels it sink and settle, far heavier than the rain clinging to his skin. He opens his mouth, dazed beyond belief, but flounders, and the words don’t come at first.
“I can’t marry any of your daughters, my Lord.” He confesses after a breath, brows furrowing as his befuddlement deepens and tugs at the corners of his already twisting frown. Hesitantly, he turns away from Lord Borros, shifts his gaze, reluctantly meeting the stare he had been avoiding. Precariously teetering on the sharp edge of a maelstrom of hurt. “I’m already married.”
To Aemond.
