Both cause that likely means there’s something wrong with Dazai, and Chuuya knows her. He’s not scared of her by any means, but she’s not one to mess with. “Since when is Dazai deaf?!”
“Since he was 10, more or less,” he replies. And then he realizes just what she’d asked. “Wait, you didn’t know?”
“No! He didn’t say a fucking thing!”

Dazai taps at Chuuya’s window. “Hey, hey. Chuuya, hey, hey, hey.”
“Oi, What’d you want? I was about to go to bed, shitty Dazai.” Chuuya grumbles.
“I have a great idea,” Dazai grins. “I decided that I’m going to let Chuuya have sex with me.”
Chuuya can’t help the way he looks at Dazai, hungry. But he is quick about it, literally no one else would have noticed. Obviously Dazai, the infuriating creature he is, notices.
Dazai’s grin widens, so very very smug. “I know, great idea, ne Chuuya?”
And it would be, it definitely would be, if Dazai wasn’t being an absolute shit about it.

Summary
“What, I know you or somethin’?” Chuuya asked.
Briefly, a look rushed over Dazai Osamu’s face— an emotion so quick, Chuuya couldn’t put a name to it. Then, his face mellowed out into a smile that had Chuuya itching for a fight; that screamed I think I’m the smartest person in the room, with just enough smugness and condescension to really rile him up.
“No,” Dazai said and looked weirdly vulnerable, like he was admitting some big secret. “No, you don’t.”
Or: the fight against the DOA ends badly for everyone involved. Now, the only person capable of ending everything before it even happens, would rather be dead and buried alongside his friends than deal with time travel of all things. Worse, when whatever adverse reaction No Longer Human had to the book has burned Dazai off the timeline as a whole.
