"Start running, then.” Toji cocked his head, watched Gojo with a hooded gaze. He picked up one of Gojo’s hands and let his lips graze over the knuckles, over the tight veins that sprouted out from under skin. He aged himself in just a decade, took whatever existed in his youth and turned it into something vile enough for Toji to want.
Gojo cut a look from the corner of his eye. “Will you chase?”

Zabuza finds Haku just barely clinging to life, and does the one thing he never thought he could bring himself to: he begs for help.
Kakashi takes pity on him and lends a hand for Haku's sake, at the risk of his own reputation. But when Haku awakens, he's stricken with grief at his own survival, and Zabuza's arms don't even work to shake some sense back into him.

"A chicken farmer," Zabuza growls in distaste, lifting Haku by the thighs to straddle him and grinding into his core as that fire lights in him afresh. "You're a wicked boy, Haku. I never should have married you."
They make love again in the bath tub, sloshing water across the floor, and this time it's with more laughter and less gravity.

As they approach the city again, whoever's left straggling in the streets at close to 3 am scatter like roaches at the sight of a blood-soaked jonin holding what appears like a mostly-naked little girl, curled up and clearly brutalized. They look like the picture of a vengeful father who found his daughter in trouble, and went to rescue her. Not a single pair of eyes linger in their direction as he heads inside the brothel they're staying at. None of them realize that the visible brutality came from Zabuza himself.
