Summary
One of Tubbo's first actions as President of L'manburg—after putting the L back on—was visiting the prison, which Schlatt had strictly forbidden.
To everyone's shock, the prisoners they meet in the depths of the vault are L'manburg's founders. At first, they seem like average, albeit seen-some-shit, people, just wanting a peaceful life.
However, they quickly realize that Schlatt had good reason to fear them.
Or, Techno and Wilbur are finally released from prison and just want to retire peacefully but have to deal with an old enemy first.

'Are there meanings behind these other ones too?' He traced the flower on his wrist.
'Well, the chrysanthemums are mainly to cover up the scars. They represent optimism and a long life, so I thought they'd balance it out.'
Kurt's followed his dream of becoming a fashion designer, despite the events of his past. He's happy again.
When he goes back to Ohio one day to visit his old Glee Club teacher, he meets Blaine Anderson, who is co-teaching the club. Blaine's sweet, and nice, but there's something intriguing about him to Kurt. Something, perhaps, that reminds him of his old self.
He wants nothing more than to get to know the man better before he has to go back to New York.

Summary
After students from his boyfriend's old school actually try to harm him—an attempt his boyfriend, Blaine, thwarts by taking a rock-salt slushee for him—Kurt needs some answers. Yes, there'd been animosity, but this just didn't fit the personality of the Dalton boys he'd known.
So he goes to Jeff, who, to his surprise, immediately sets a time and place for everything to be explained to him.
A boy he's never met before appears with an audio recording of a very interesting conversation between Blaine and Sebastian, the supposed "ringleader" of the situation.
Faced with facts he can't deny, Kurt learns that every boy he knew from Dalton has another side: including the sweet-hearted, always-smiling Jeffrey Sterling, and the cold, snarky Sebastian Smythe.
