Summary
Wriothesley tried to ask – tried to explain – but no words came. Instead, he was left with a denseness in his chest, a burning that raced from his bowels to his brain as his lungs refused to resume their old refrain. In a panic, he commanded them to expel their current breath, to eject whatever ichor still remained in their recesses. Yet, they remained solid and still, making it apparent that they were not obstructed, but emptied and collapsed in upon themselves.
He couldn’t do it.
He couldn’t commit this sin.
He couldn’t accept this dominance.

As they prepare to experiment with a blindfold, Wriothesley and Neuvillette find their encounter threatened by a simmering insecurity.

Wriothesley furrowed his brow, then relaxed into a sigh.
“Well then,” he said. “It seems like I have to change my wish.”
Neuvillette’s eyes grew wide, meeting Wriothesley’s with but one beseeching question: why?
“I wish…” Wriothesley said, pausing to catch Neuvillette’s trepidation in his unshakable gaze. “I wish that we could have a happy childhood. I wish that we could grow up together.”

I keep thinking of how Childe's passive talent increases normal attack level for everyone in the party and how there should be a lore explanation for this and I have two versions.
First: he explains techniques to people.
Second: he's just very annoying and angry people put more strength in their blows.
