For a good moment I considered just burying my head into it and hoping Jeeves would leave me be, but courage prevailed. I find myself on my feet once more. Jeeves watches me approach with his usual neutral expression askew. There is a guarded warmth in those piercing eyes that compels me forward.
My foot catches the edge of the bed frame. I do not fall into his arms, per se, but I just as nearly did. Not the graceful wooing one strives for.
