Summary
There's a first year letter addressed to one Delphini Riddle, living at Rowle Manor, who no one seems to have heard of in the ten years since the Second War ended. Defense Professor Harry Potter feels obligated to deliver it in person, purely in the interest of confirming it to be a coincidence, of course.
Everything that happens afterward is just his way of avoiding history repeating itself.

one of the most amazing fics -even books- I have ever read. amazing worldbuilding, characterization, and storytelling! this series gave the wizarding world and creatures (or rather, beings) the depth they really needed.
