The door creaked as it slowly opened; the petite little boy named Peter's fingers curled around its edges, his golden hair and big blue eyes emerging around the corner into the room. He seemed even shyer than he first appeared on stage as he walked in, his eyes darting around the small room I alone was waiting in.
"Um... Father Fred said you wanted to see me?" He asked timidly, his small, round face looking up at me.
"I did," I said, standing and holding my hand and getting a weak handshake. It wasn't a limp shake, but there is only so much a boy can provide in grip strength when his tiny mitt is all but encompassed in my larger adult hand. "I'm Father Tim. I'm looking for an apprentice for my church and was hoping that could be you?"

“Wow,” Eddie interrupts, adopting a sickly-sweet tone. He slowly puts his fork down and clasps his hands together in front of his lunch tray, sending a forced smile in Richie’s direction. “You must be an excellent lover.”
or: Eddie accepts a dare to compliment Richie a hundred times, not knowing that along the way he’ll discover how much he likes it when Richie degrades him in return – maybe a little too much.

Avery took a beat, glanced sideways at Max as Tristan repositioned himself, hand moving to hold his glass more securely. He looked more intrigued than eager, but she could work with intrigued.
She set her glass down, and brushed her hair back ever so slightly. Tristan leaned forward, setting his glass on the table in front of him. ‘Gotcha.’ She thought, as she slid her eyes over to Max.
Again, he was harder to read. He hadn’t moved as much, at least not towards her, but the eyes are the keys to the soul or however that saying goes, and Max’s pupils were steadily growing wider with arousal as he turned his head in her direction.
