“Mind your business,” Eddie laughed, leaning forward and flicking Christopher’s forehead with her free hand. “I don’t even need to hold her hand, Buck would follow me around anyway.”
Buck’s mouth twitches.
Because, yeah, she was right. Buck would happily follow Eddie anywhere, with or without the handholding. She would follow her off the edge of the earth if it meant she got to spend a little more time with her. Dr Copeland would probably say that she has unhealthy attachment issues; Buck likes to think that she’s just a girl in love.
Buck loves her best friend a disgusting amount. It’s a good thing Eddie loves her just as much.

This isn’t the first time Buck has tried to whisk Eddie away into a dark corner of the firehouse despite Eddie’s best efforts to keep her in check—in fact, it happens more than Eddie’s already high blood pressure can take—but this is the first time she’s been successful. Eddie would be more upset about it now if the rest of their squad wasn’t either asleep or upstairs in the loft area, far away from the little storage closet where Buck is feeling her up.

"How– How do I look at you?"
Eddie cocked an eyebrow. "Oh, we're playing this game?"
"I don't know what you're talking about." Buck lied.
"Half the time, you look at me like you'd bend over for me anytime I asked."
"And the other half?"
"The other half, you look like you're in love with me."
Or, Eddie is acting kind of weird. It's not for the reason Buck was expecting. Also, they're both women.
