Summary
"It’s my job to make sure you’re performing at top capacity. You’re a good member of the team, Owen, and I like having you around. I just need you to focus.” As Jack speaks the last word, he taps the back of Ianto’s head gently. A hidden command snaps Ianto to attention, his head craning back so he can look at Jack even from this position. None of his usual discomfort from the forced eye contact is evident in his body beyond a slight strain from the angle of his neck. “You’re distracted; let me help.”
“Got him well-trained,” Owen comments, gesturing at Ianto between them. For a split-second, Ianto looks at him, but quickly refocuses his attention on Jack. “He’s always been your errand boy.”
Jack chuckles, a familiar dark sound that rumbles in Owen’s chest. “An errand boy, not always mine. But don’t worry; I don’t expect this out of you. First of all, I don’t think I could handle both of you all the time.”
Owen's been distracted lately. Jack and Ianto help.

Summary
“And you, what’s your excuse?” he asks the tarnished reflection. This ghost in the grey sheet, hair slicked back with sweat, wrinkled face hollow, drooping eyes haunted, is unrecognizable to him. The version of himself in his mind’s eye is still young and untainted by decades of hope for something he would never receive. “I mean, what even are you?”
A look inside Izzy's mind during that scene of episode four.

Summary
He feels closer to Ed now than he ever has before. Izzy has experienced practically every emotion available on the human spectrum, but this is the first time he has stared up, dewy-eyed, and prayed for death. The prospect neither frightens nor overwhelms him. Instead, he feels it would be a warm, soothing embrace, of the sort to deliver him softly from the purgatory he willingly followed Ed into. If nothing else, he deserves some recognition for how far loyalty to his captain above all brought Izzy.
“Kill me,” Izzy bellows into Frenchie’s face, too weak to do much else. “Kill me, you fucking coward!”
Frenchie doesn’t kill him, which is just as well because Izzy has never loved anything that wasn’t trying to tear him apart.
A detailed look inside Izzy's mind during that scene of episode two.

Summary
“You deserve better. I’m trying to be. But I’m a work in progress.”
Enough of Rita’s tears reach Phil’s shirt for him to notice it’s wet. He jumps, then holds his breath for a beat longer than she’s comfortable with. “Everyone’s a work in progress,” she chokes out.
“Not this bad,” Phil answers. His voice is far away, pinned to something he hopes she’ll interpret as humorous, but she knows him too well not to understand as a façade. “How much did you hear?”
“I’ve been awake.”
Rita is triggered by Phil's mental health episode.

Summary
“I want you to say that again, slower. You think you’re more likely to get ketamine and a nonconsensual enema at the university hospital than you are to exist in linear time?”
“It wasn’t ketamine, and it sounds stupid when you put it like that.”
“Just playing devil’s advocate.”
When Phil peeks at her again, she’s smiling at him sadly. It makes his chest feel fluttery because he can see how much she cares about him, how badly she wants him to just be actually normal and not the fake normal he plays at. He could stomach it if Rita wanted him to be easier to deal with; transactions are a way of life, and lord knows Phil built his career on them. This whole relationship part where she’s invested in his happiness and well-being threatens the trigger on his deep-seated instinct to blow up his connection with anyone who gets too close. He doesn’t want to do that with her.
Phil has an accident and spirals about it.

Summary
Groundhog Day changed Phil as a person. He's less of a selfish ass these days, has managed to make friends and start dating Rita, and goes to therapy on a weekly basis to deal with his issues.
It would be a picture perfect ending if Groundhog Day hadn't simply piled trauma on top of his depression and anxiety, or if anyone in the world believed Phil about what happened to him.
Or:
Phil has mental health issues, but he's trying to be better.

Summary
The picture looks like this. Old ass, steel blue Honda Odyssey, passenger’s side door popped. The fucking Wolverine is on his knees, hands between his spread legs and palms flat on the ground, mere inches away from Wade Wilson’s hard dick behind his suit. Wade’s perched sideways, legs out of the car, thighs open and waiting like something will happen to them.
And then there’s the fucking katana. Yeah, fuck you Disney, every single person who purchased tickets to this movie has been robbed. Robbed blind!
Wade Wilson has the Wolver-fucking-ine on his knees, getting his chin tilted up by the tip of a sword like a little fucking damsel waiting to be swept away and ravaged. And, crazily enough, he isn’t even struggling. His tongue slips out to lick over his bottom lip and the sharp points of his laterals.
“Open up for me, puppy love,” Wade grins.
Logan sneers, showing off his canines, but opens his mouth anyway. Fucking unbelievable.
