Humans are food, not something to get emotionally invested in.
Yuta never seems to be able to do anything right. At least Mark likes him back, for better or worse.

Summary
For as long as Jeno can remember, this circus has been his home. It didn’t matter where they were at, just that these people, these tents, these performances defined the place that he believed he belonged.
Although, maybe not all of this is his home. Maybe it’s just Jaemin.

Summary
When a sudden injury forces Mark Lee to temporarily give up hockey (and his student athlete scholarship), he makes the trip back to his hometown to recover. Back in the place he grew up and swore never to return to, he reconnects with his best friend’s younger brother, falls in love, learns a little bit about civilization, and learns a lot about himself.
Not necessarily in that order.

Summary
“A bit strange, don’t you think?”
Doyoung turns his head to see another figure right besides him and he straightens up, leg still up on the bar in front of him. “What is,” Doyoung responds.
The other boy, Taeyong, tilts his head towards the corner of the room where Jungwoo is before his eyes connect with Doyoung’s. “That she’d bring someone new in one week until the second biggest competition of the year.”
A bit strange, indeed.

Summary
“You too, huh?” Donghyuck chuckles sardonically, seizing the sentence between his teeth. “What is this? The reject bin?”
“Fuck off,” Chenle says. He doesn’t deny anything though, just lets his hand clap onto his forehead and flop through his hair. He hasn’t even bothered to get under the covers--content to freeze rather than admit weakness.
(Irony. He and Chenle are similar in all the worst possible ways. Even in this.)

Summary
The ink on the paper has bled through, the strokes so deeply engraved it almost rips through the aged parchment.
‘How fucking dare you.’ It reads in shaky, yet beautiful cursive.
Then, under it:
‘The maids are retrieving my guns as I am writing this letter, and I will have arrived at your estate by the time you finish reading it. And after I shoot you, I’ll hunt down the drummers and pipers like wild game. My brothers will not stop me. Say your prayers.’
Damn, Jaemin thinks. Whoever wrote this must’ve really hated their lover. Or was the one who wrote the 12 Days of Christmas.
