Summary
Gear had always warned Sleepy Ash that during the full moon, he wouldn’t be in his right mind as he’s completely transformed. That’s why he wanted the vampire to stay indoors during that time, as he would otherwise attack Ash if he’s outside during a full moon. Ash had no issues in obeying this request, as he knew Gear only meant to keep him safe, but when Ash hears during a full moon not only the howl of an unfamiliar werewolf but also the pained howl of Gear, he can’t obey Gear’s request any longer.

"This is your day, isn't it? You can do whatever you want now! Nobody in the world can tell you what to do anymore." Judar's gaze wandered over the crowd, and not even he could contain the excitement that carried his words. "You've done it, the world is yours!"
"Ours," Hakuryuu corrected, and Judar felt their hands touching ever so slightly, until his was firmly held by the new emperor. "You dreamt about this all the time, didn't you? I suppose it is because youre a magi, that you would want a king to believe in, but also a country to build and shape like you want to. I will give you both. Kou is yours, just like I am. Stay at my side and create a new world with me."
Judar didn't look at him, but he smiled slightly. "I would only lead it to destruction."

He was soaking when he finally arrived at the church. Walking straight through the front door wasn’t the smartest thing to do, but Gear wasn’t patient enough to look for another entrance. It was a stuffy, dark place. Only a few windows were able to light the way. And right there, under a small spot of light, he identified a black furball, covered in blood as three arrows were piercing his body.
(Or, Gear saves Ash and it ends up kinda kinky.)

When they met, Gear didn't exactly know what to really do. It was sudden when his visitor came to him for help. After being alone for a long time, Gear almost felt....happy that he had someone with him. And to think his visitor was another species of immortal that neither of them knew what it was called at the time, it still made him want many things. A friend most of all.
His name was Sleepy Ash.
