“Am I going to walk outside my practice and see a dead body?” Megumi questions, trying to keep his voice neutral.
He really won’t be able to avoid calling the cops if that happens. Megumi is not about to go to jail for a crime he didn’t commit because Sukuna couldn’t clean up after himself. But Sukuna only lets out a laugh, Megumi pauses his stitches as Sukuna’s stomach rolls from the unexpected movement.
“Not at all, sweetheart,” he says, voice dipping low, “I don’t like mixing business and pleasure.”

What's supposed to just be a quick errand out in the desert ends up getting Sethos tangled up in a scheme in which he is very much an unwilling participant. Had they kept it all physical, he could have withstood it until someone came to find him, but they seem to have it out for his mind instead. And for some reason, Cyno seems to be the target of these nightmarish visions every single time.

Summary
Lucien Lunaris is a cursed vampire. He's only able to survive off of fresh blood, unable to use the ethical blood bags from professional authorized blood banks. His curse seems to be getting worse, the police are catching on to him, and he doesn't know how long he'll be able to keep the facade up.
Cassian Floros is a highly intelligent detective set on catching the serial blood-sucking vampire who doesn't seem to know when to stop. He's persistent and will stop at nothing to get to the bottom of the case. His pride is on the line, and he's so close to finally putting an end to everything.
And to top it all off?
They’re both neighbors who may or may not have feelings for each other, making everything all the more complicated.
