    "Needy." Minnie could picture Miyeon smirking. "It's been three days, you know. Well, four, since it's currently past midnight."

    "You're keeping track?"

    "What of it?" Minnie imagined Miyeon shrugging. "Can't I miss my favorite person in the world and counting the days until I see her again?"

    Minnie's heart thumped loudly in her chest. "Your favorite person in the world?"

    "Yeah? Isn't that obvious?"

    She would've twirled her hair if it was in braids right now. Unfortunately, she had to be content by gripping the armchair. "Is it okay if I say yes?"

    "Of course it's okay, weirdo." Miyeon laughed. "I miss you," she said once more. "Can we FaceTime for a bit? Even five minutes is fine. Then I'll let you return to glaring at your laptop."

    An insane thought occurred to her. "Or you could come here," Minnie suggested. "Help me out with the lyrics or something. Hell, write it if you want to. It would be great. You said you wanted to write before, right? Even way before Rain?”
