I wanted a satisfactory explanation for how Sgeayl’s previous rider could secretly have been Xaden’s grandfather when the world thought he was his Great-uncle. So I wrote my own.
Following the POV of Iris, the wife of the eldest son of Duke Riorson. A story of forbidden love as she falls for her husband's charming younger brother who has ambitions of being a dragon rider.
Critics call it “a beautiful, heartbreaking love story 😭” And say That it “evoked major regency novel vibes”. With a male love interest who is “swoon worthy” and “a mix of Jonathan Bailey and Xaden Riorson”.
