He’s losing his mind. For weeks -months- you’ve been driving him crazy. At first he thought it was due to your headstrong nature and your seemingly annoying ability to find him when he was distracted. No matter what he did he couldn’t seem to get you out of his head. Even worse, whenever you came into his office it was like your scent hovered for days on all of his things. The fantasies of pushing you against a wall or over his desk were getting out of hand, it was about time he did something about it.
