Alhaitham is quite fond of his hairdresser, even if he'd never admit it; good thing his most prominent rivals, the Fatui, are all too keen to put the hairdresser in question—Kaveh—'s life in danger if it would bring them even a slightest bit of edge in their territory wars. Unable to accept letting someone innocent and outside their Syndicate take the fall for him, Alhaitham has no choice but to take Kaveh to a safehouse while Cyno deals with the troublemakers—a strange, unusual, perhaps even dangerous bet.
What happens next is forced by the circumstances, perhaps, but it may have always been destined to happen.
