Summary
Dean Winchester does not dance.
It’s not like he can’t or anything. He could probably figure something out eventually – if he wanted to. It’s just that he doesn’t. At all. There’s a lot of multi-tasking involved. So much could go wrong so quickly, and Dean was not about to be made a fool of in front of an audience. Maybe, just maybe, it would be okay if this were at a small thing with close friends, but this was much bigger and much worse – Jess and Sam’s wedding reception.
Written as part of the 2016 DeanCas Secret Santa for michele659 with the prompt:
AU where Dean has to learn to dance for Sam's wedding and Cas is his instructor. Lots of sexual tension and typical rom com complications ensue, leading to a happy ending.

Summary
For Mary_Twist:
Of all the days to give him a new start, it had to be on Christmas Eve.
Under any normal circumstance, Jensen would have been thrilled to be back on the field. Well, not the field, per se - he was doing research for an active case - but fieldwork couldn’t be far behind. After all, he was one of their best agents, and if they finally trusted him again to be on important cases, in any form possible, then full redemption and reinstatement wasn’t too far away.
There were only two problems: the holiday and his partner.

Summary
“I want him gone,” Dean barked.
Cas of course knew what he was talking about. The other Dean. The old Dean. The Dean that hadn't watched all his loved ones die because the devil took over Sam. The Dean that wasn’t humanity’s fearless leader and last hope.
“Why?” he asked, barely able to contain the smug smile creeping on his lips. “I like him.”
“Of course you would,” he sneered.
“Yeah, he’s from 2009. Back when you cared.”

Summary
He strolled down the lane of shops, just absorbing the sound of the blacksmiths and the smells of the animal stalls and the sights of the people.
Suddenly he was propelled forward by an unknown force, nearly falling in the hay and muck below him.
"What do you think you're doing," he snapped as he turned around, but when his eyes met those of the boy that ran into him, his voice caught in his throat.
(Written for the Destiel Ficlet Challenge. Prompt: "Person A and B are arranged to be married.")

Summary
The alarm on Dean’s phone blasted ‘Back in Black’ at some ungodly hour in the morning. He quickly swiped away the alarm, threw the phone in the general direction of stand, and curled back up into Cas.
Cas mumbled something, completely unintelligible from being muffled by the pillow and the man’s groggy state of semi-awareness.
“What?” Dean groaned.
“We have to get up,” he repeated.

Summary
Every human develops the familiar soul mate mark. The popular belief of the purpose of the name is to help persons find their soul mate, or “true love” as commonly referred to. It is nearly universally accepted that the name on their wrist is of the person they ‘destined’ to be with. Unfortunately for many, it is not uncommon for one to have a person’s name on a wrist, but for the other not to have theirs.

Dean reached out to the boy. “Promise we’ll be best friends forever and always be there for each other and never let the other one down and always tell each other everything.” Cas’s small grin broke into a full-fledged beaming smile. The boy gingerly took Dean’s hand in his own.“I promise.”

Summary
“So are you going to ask him out yet,” she inquired between bites.
Dean sputtered, frozen in the doorway. She had to be talking about Cas, but it was impossible. Sure, he had talked about elevator experience and Cas, but never once vocally expressed interest in the man. “What are you talking about,” he asked, his words dripping with annoyance.
“You know, Cas: the guy you've been crushing on since the incident.” Dean opened his mouth to retaliate, but Charlie shushed him with a wave of her hand. “Dean, I know you. Better than yourself, probably. You have been weird for two weeks: getting really distracted, not eating as much, always searching for someone in the hall.” She listed the points off on her fingers. “I could go on. Anyways, this all started the Monday after the incident, it’s obviously connected. You like him and it’s showing.”

Summary
Today was not a good day. That was putting it mildly. Got in a fight with Zachariah, spilled chowder all over his new tie, watched in horror as his computer crashed. And now Dean was getting out of the office over an hour after shift ended. No things were not fine. He barely registered entering the elevator and punching the button for first floor. He hardly noticed the other man run to jump in at the last second, only huffing in annoyance at the automatic reopening of the doors so the man wasn’t compressed. The guy might have made a noncommittal noise of apology, or maybe it was a greeting, as the doors finally slid shut. He was too pissed to care.
The thing that did catch his attention was sudden stop of movement and great force of momentum pushing him down to the floor.

Summary
He about to start another set when a pint sloshed down in front of him. He looked up to see an angular face and soft eyes staring down at him. He was the new bartender - Doug or Dean or something. The man flashed a small smile. “I thought you could use a break.”
Castiel squinted in confusion. “Shouldn't you be working at the bar?” he asked plainly.
“I’m on break, Benny’s covering for me,” the guy said with a role of his eyes. The new guy reached for a nearby chair and dragged it right up the piano. “Anyways, you look lonely and sad and needed some company. And a good drink.”

Summary
Okay, so Dean could forgive the Trickster for this universe. Of all the TV shows to pick, the old Batman one with Adam West wasn’t half bad. It was one of Dean’s favorites when he was little; there were many fond memories of him and Sammy curled up together motel beds watching the reruns on the small TVs. He always wished he could be the crime fighter.
And now he really was the hero.

Summary
Dean felt weightless. He wasn’t flying, but he might as well been. Every emotion, every problem, every bit of self-loathing and constant worry, gone. He was free. The highest form of free will, without emotion to persuade or dissuade. A blissful emptiness consumed him, and he loved it.

Summary
Cas hated mornings: the very idea of getting out of bed at seven to go to classes made him sick. There was, however, one plus side, and that was the small coffee shop on the corner of his apartment’s block. Heaven’s Brew made a great espresso and had wonderful atmosphere, but that’s not why he got up early enough to visit the place every morning. It was for the cute barista that made said espresso.

Summary
It wasn't supposed to happen this way.
Everyone thought Dean Winchester would die as he lived: hunting things, saving the world from terror, surrounded by brother and best friend. Hell, half thought it would come to a crazed and passionately made demon deal (Lord knows that already happened).
So no one expected death to be a heart attack.
