Summary

They both soon learn, however, that a bitter rivalry can easily devolve into a lustful obsession. Summary
Astarion has performed the Rite of Profane Ascension, becoming Faerûn's first and only Vampire Ascendant. He had changed so quickly, asking Tav to sacrifice her mortality as proof of her love for him. Heartbroken and betrayed, she leaves Astarion, refusing the offer of his eternal gift.
