Leading the new era of the Ghost project is none other than the Secretary of the Treasury, Cardinal Copia.
It's not a task given to him so willingly.
Sister smiles and carefully seats herself in the chair, reaching out and patting Copia on the back of the hand for a moment, “Cardinal,” she greets him, watching as he moves around the desk to take a seat in his chair again. “I do hope you’re not too irritated at Papa,” she starts, “He’s just a little...disgruntled right now.”
Copia fixes a somewhat professional smile on his face, clasping both hands in front of him on the desk, “I am not of the bloodline, yes? He’s unhappy about that. I think I would be unhappy about it too, if I were him. I know you said this was what the church needs, but maybe perhaps—”

Summary
Copia didn't expect his life to turn out the way it had since he'd left the church all those years ago. He hadn't expected a lot of things, to be fair, but he just carried on with his lot in life. He became a ghost hunter, as some would call it. It suited him, it was a perfectly good lot in life.
Until that lot in life carried him along to a Satantic church and, in no particular order, is meant to stop someone from killing him, finding a child, tasked with solving a murder by a dead man, falling in love, finding a family and struggling to keep those he loves from dying as all others have around him.
Hell is certainly a way to describe his lot.

It wasn’t supposed to start with a rough night. It was meant to be a peaceful night, really. It was meant to be a quick in and out, with nothing more than a burst of gunfire if it really came to that. It came to that, and so much more, and now Dew was pressing down on a wound, grunting softly in pain as Sunshine stepped on the gas, tearing through the backwoods and backwater swamp like she could see in the dark. And well. Knowing her? It was certainly a possibility.
