Summary
Hound is one of most notoriously difficult agents to handle in Konoha’s Special Ops Division. Its a well known fact that he can’t keep a mission handler, and it’s more than a little by design on his part, honestly. He just didn’t think one would up and leave him while he was being shot at.
Iruka is just a guy in IT. A damn good guy in IT who likes his cozy office job. Taking a turn at being the guy in the chair was not on the agenda.

Summary
There were inherent dangers that came with working in shinobi village's hospital. It was as much a danger to the medic as it was for the shinobi. The shinobi, sure, because something was direly wrong with their physical state if they resorted to the dent in their pride to seek treatment from a professional. And to the medic, because shinobi were unpredictable, and an unconscious one was even more dangerous.
Dealing with an unconscious Umino Iruka was like defusing a bomb.

But when he’s given the seemingly impossible task of dismantling one of the forgotten clan’s homes, he’s met with several surprises. Namely, a ghost that seems to defy the rules of being dead. What doesn’t make sense to Iruka, is why Kakashi won’t give up being a ghost, when the afterlife is right there.

The drive with Vernon was the coldly silent type, this time. Harry stared out the window as the car bore him away from the magical world and felt the numbness begin to creep over him. He hated it here, of course. But what he hated most of all was the feeling of helplessness. He couldn’t do anything. He could only… exist, and wait for the summer to end.
If I could just... vanish, Harry thought idly.
For some reason the idea caught in his mind, like a jagged fingernail on fabric.
I- I really could disappear. One corner of his mouth quirked. I even have the cloak for it.
He pressed his head hard against the car window frame and pretended he was elsewhere. Anywhere else. Forever.

“I just don’t understand why the Greeks treat him as such a big deal,” Marcel said “Or even the gods. Lady Juno and Lord Mars clearly backed him, and I don’t understand why. He certainly doesn’t look like much.”
“Why don’t you just ask around?” she asked him. “Heroes have stories and people are always eager to tell them. I’m sure any of the Greeks could tell you more about him.”
“It’s not a bad idea,” Jordan added. “It would be nice knowing exactly why he was part of the prophesied Seven. I know the Venus girl had sorcery and the Vulcan boy obviously had power over fire. But why Jackson? Just because they took a boat?”
Despite raising him on a shield, Romans don't know much about Percy Jackson, or even the Greeks in general. As the Legion attempts to recover from the wars, they find out there is far more to the Son of Neptune then they originally thought, and learn quite a few things about themselves along the way.

“She’ll never claim me,” he whispered. Silena shook her head, eyes wild as she looked around for anyone who could be watching.
“My mother doesn’t remember half of her children as it is,” she said with a note of bitterness. “If you do something to impress her, it won’t matter. Return the bolt in her name. She’ll claim you if you act the part. If you stay unclaimed then they'll figure out what you really are," she said, squeezing his hands tightly. Percy's heart sped up.
"I - I don't know the first thing about Aphrodite-"
"My mother was born of sea foam," Silena cut him off. "And if you're really who I think you are... you are the sea. You can pull this off," she said and touched his cheek. "Get the bolt. Survive," she said. Percy swallowed.
"What if I can't act the part?" He asked. Silena's expression went blank for a moment. Slowly, she slipped off her bracelet and placed it in his hands.
"If you're going to be one of us... you better learn."

AU where Percy has to hide the fact he's a Big Three kid otherwise he'll be killed on the spot. Unfortunately for him, unclaimed kids tend to raise the most suspicion... but he might have found a loophole in the form of Aphrodite.

Summary
Percy knew it wasn’t a good idea for him to accompany Thalia and Annabeth to Westover Hall. He couldn’t explain it to them—not without spilling a whole host of secrets—but a feeling of cold dread filled his bones every time he thought about their upcoming trip.
Not to mention, Percy’s dreams the week leading up to the mission had been full of snowy cliffs and long falls in which he always woke before he hit the ground. The two children of Hades crouched on the edge of the cliff, cowering from something Percy never managed to see. He always saw himself, though, placing himself between the two demigods and whatever had them trapped on the edge of a cliff.
Every dream ended with a fall, and Percy woke up sure he was about to smash into the ground hard enough to break every bone in his body.
Nothing good would come from Westover Hall, Percy knew, but Grover had asked for help, and Percy could never ignore a friend in need.
He was beginning to think he should learn how to, though.

It had happened in the library at one of the sets of couches along the back wall. He’d been struggling with an essay for Arithmancy while Theo sat beside him on the couch, relaxed back against the armrest, and reading a book for Muggle Studies. In a moment of frustration, Harry leaned back and ended up somehow resting on Theo’s chest rather than the back of the couch.
Or: The time in Eighth Year when Harry realizes he might have feelings for Theo.
