Summary
In the backseat of OJ’s pickup truck, Angel hatches a plan. He just has to show them that he’s worth keeping around. If he can keep demonstrating his own usefulness, then maybe they’ll let him stay. OJ and Em are good people, Angel knows that, but any good person has a limit. Especially when they’re dealing with Angel. Angel would just have to… you know. Work around that. Compensate.

“Stop that,” OJ says, but Angel doesn’t listen, too absorbed. OJ can’t imagine why, when it must hurt.
“Yo, stop,” OJ repeats, and grabs Angel around the wrist.
Angel snaps his head up and looks at OJ, eyes huge and surprised and a little vulnerable. He stops moving completely. His skin is warm, and for some reason that surprises OJ.

It’s normal for people in the same workplace to gossip, especially a workplace with mostly bored young adults, so Eunhyuk isn’t surprised when people start joking about his “crush” on Hyunsu. What is surprising is that everyone comes to that conclusion separately, without conferring with each other.
Or, it's December. Hyunsu makes latte art, Eunhyuk does not pine, and it's hard to make a living.

Hyunsu is reeling. The brother that Eunyu always complained about sounded like a giant nerd. He wore khakis and button ups almost exclusively. He played chess for fun. Hyunsu is feeling extreme dissonance between the nerdy Eunhyuk that he has always imagined and this Eunhyuk, who is now pressing his thumb so tightly into the divot of Hyunsu’s hip that it’s sure to leave bruises.
“I said, come home with me,” Eunhyuk repeats. “If you want.”

Summary
It’s too easy for Jayce to forget, sometimes, that Viktor isn’t nice. Viktor’s good. Viktor’s kind. Viktor wants to lift up the weak and the helpless and cast down the mighty. But he isn’t nice. And he’s only human: sometimes, he takes things too far. Sometimes, Jayce wonders if Viktor pictures perfection as a vast white wasteland: sterile, untouched.
But Jayce isn’t one to criticise. He, too, has his flaws. That night, Jayce pictures Viktor bent over the welding bench and he takes himself in his hand, moving quick and fast and cruel until he comes. Yes: he, too, has his flaws.
Or: Jayce is down bad, and Viktor slowly notices.

He’s familiar with the space Viktor takes up, standing next to him by the blackboard or sitting down at the tables. He knows how Viktor will shuffle underneath Jayce’s arm to correct a mistake in his maths, or rewrite a messy theory while Jayce prattles on about the next steps. He knows the surprising sturdiness of Viktor’s cane, as it smacks at his ankles when Jayce doesn’t make room fast enough.
