Summary
When a citizen of Mondstadt is found to be involved in a series of brutal kidnappings across Fontaine, the Knights of Favonius are given an ultimatum from none other than the hydro Archon herself: either clean up their own mess and catch the guilty culprit or have their Grand Master, Acting or non, face trial. Accusation? Concealing person from arrest. Penalty? Life sentence.
The main issue, Jean thinks as her stomach sinks at the contents of Focalors’ missive, is that the suspected criminal has ties with the Order. Which means that some of her men could be accomplices. That they can’t be trusted to be sent to Fontaine.
And that leaves Jean with only one person to plea for help.
Or; upon Jean’s request, Diluc travels to Fontaine to help take care of a case which so happens to be under the investigation of someone who goes by the name of the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide.

Summary
“What do you want, Mei Mei?” Satoru asks straight away, because he’s never been one to beat around the bush.
“The university’s charity organization has decided to set up a kissing booth to raise money for this year’s donation goal, and I’ve been tasked with recruiting the lucky volunteers,” Mei Mei says as she places her hand on the back of Suguru’s chair, her gaze as graciously calculating as always. “I thought you might be interested.”
“I am afraid I must refuse,” Suguru replies, maintaining a courteous tone of voice, because there’s no universe in which he’d voluntarily subject himself to such a thing.
“Okay,” Satoru retorts at the exact same moment, and every single thought in Suguru’s head comes to a standstill.
Or: When Satoru agrees to volunteer at their University's kissing booth charity event Suguru is forced to come to terms with how he actually feels about his best friend.

Summary
There’s a thief in Satoru’s house.
In an all in all unsurprising display of lack of common sense, Satoru doesn’t call the police. Instead, he falls in love, offers him money, makes him a cup of tea, fights him and asks him to move in. In that order.
Or: Satoru mistakes Suguru for a thief. It doesn’t stop him from falling for Suguru embarassingly fast.

He wavers for a moment, hesitating only a second- what if Jayce pulls away? What if he is misreading this whole scenario? What if he crosses a line that cannot be uncrossed-

Suguru’s feet come to a stop when they arrive at the main courtyard. “Satoru,” he says, but he can barely hear the words over the sound of his own heartbeat roaring in his ears.
“Yeah?” Satoru asks, turning around, and with the moonlight against his back, pouring silver into his hair, Suguru thinks he’s never seen a more beautiful person in his life.
Suguru swallows. “What’s that?” he manages to get out, pointing arbitrarily behind Satoru.
Satoru cranes his neck to peer behind him. “What’s what?”
When he turns back around, Suguru is on one knee.
Satoru’s eyes widen. “Suguru?”
