Summary
But that evening, something shifted.
Leah hesitated, then spoke, her voice softer than Hunter had ever heard it. "You know, for someone who claims I'm a bitch, you sure talk to me a lot."
Hunter smirked, a hint of warmth in her eyes. "Someone's got to keep you humble, princess."
Leah scoffed in feigned annoyance, yet a genuine smile played on her lips. "Yeah, well, maybe I don't mind..." if it's you.

Summary
Glados lived her life in sheer lines and meticulous execution. Everything from her appearance to her work to her interior design was intentional and precise, and this extended to her garden.
When she’d first moved in, she went through gardener after gardener, all yielding less than satisfactory results, before coming to the realization that if you want something done right, best to do it yourself. So that was how Glados found herself, on a few evenings during the week and several hours on weekends, elbow deep in potting soil or extracting weeds from pots and beds. She had a system, and it worked flawlessly for years.
Then she moved in.
