Summary
Once, she was a part of them all, a member of a group of friends closer than family, fighting to save the world more often than they should have been. Then she had left, choices were made, consequences suffered, and everything she had known and loved was lost. Their lives went on, mostly happy, usually less dangerous, and she lived her own life, the good and the bad.
The last thing she ever wanted was to drag them out of their carefree existances, into the darkness she had been forced to live in. Sometimes, the choice isn't really a choice, the decisions made have so many more long reaching paths than any could foresee.
And sometimes, at the end of it all, if the Albatross is good luck, or bad, is only decided in the retelling.
