Maybe if Charlie stayed miles away from his home town, he wouldn’t need to dig another grave for himself, as he did years ago. He didn’t need to dig in the past and look for the responses, which would never get answered anyway.
But Charlie always loved to return back and play a detective until his feelings were shattered and scattered around him, for the people to throw away.

“I’ll give you 50— no, 35 bucks if you tell me.” Charlie pulls the money out, luring Quackity.
“His name is Mariana. He’s from Mexico, though he lived here most of his life. His daughter’s name is JuanaFlippa. He’s blind as fuck and probably needs better glasses. Most importantly,” Quackity leans threateningly close to Charlie, snatching the bucks out of his hand, “he’s single.”

And so, that’s the introduction that leads us to Charlie’s current state. In less than a week, he is forced to not only spend two whole weeks in his old bedroom, which was probably left the same the last time he saw it—the only difference will be a thick blanket of dust covering all his belongings—but also introduce them to a partner he lied about having.
He’s hopeless. He doesn’t have a single clue where he should look for his target, who would be willing to pretend to be with him for two painfully long weeks.
Well, there is a certain person Charlie can ask.
or, Charlie needs to find somebody who will pretend to be his boyfriend while he visits his parents, and Mariana happens to be the best person to go with.

An up-and-coming masked hero is revealed to be a serial killer, and the public is terrified. Everyone's demanding that Spider-Man reveal his identity for their own safety, and as if that isn't enough, Deadpool is hired to make sure it happens. Peter's stressed enough as it is with work and rent and school and a new super villain cropping up — he just doesn't have time for this. He especially doesn't have time for Deadpool accosting Peter Parker, wanting Spider-Man's photographer to help track down the elusive hero.
