Summary
Prince Inuyasha Takahashi of the West and Princess Kagome Higurashi of the South were betrothed at birth. They had been destined for marriage in a union that would bring their kingdoms together. However, that is easier said than done, as every summer they are meant to visit the other's kingdom -- a visit that neither of them truly look forward to.
After years of planning, the time comes for the union to be complete. However, before the merger can become official, the princess is kidnapped by an evil wizard with the promise of taking the Southern kingdom for himself. With determination, Inuyasha goes off in search of the princess, but it seems she is gone forever.

Contract? Lucy had taken the folder from him, before opening it up to see a rather lengthy contract. She’d have to read it later, but it said that the contract would end when the scandal blew over and she deemed it safe to carry on without a bodyguard. She looked up at him, from the contract, still standing in the doorway to her flat. That suit looked a little tight around his chest. She glanced back down at the contract, before looking back up, and giving him a once over.

“I am.”
“Yet, you are staying with your team, as if you are one of them.”
“Is there another option?”
