Summary
Dillon buries his hands in pockets, determined to stop himself from spiralling for once. The shops are right up ahead; just a few more strides and then he can go home.
That’s when he sees him.
Lucas is stumbling out of Price Slice, blinking against the afternoon sun, looking like he’s barely survived the night before. His fawn-coloured curls are plastered to his forehead and he’s got a smudge of glitter down the side of his neck.
He’s beautiful. The way he always is; always has been.
Or, Dillon struggles to rebuild his life—and his relationship with Lucas—in the aftermath of his one-night-stand with Leah.

Summary
Lucas had thought that maybe, maybe, there was a chance that Dillon was wrong. That he was making it all up, somehow. That he and Leah were mistaken. That it was all a dream or a false memory. Something. But there’s no denying it. Not now that the evidence is laid out bare in front of him like this.
Dillon reflects back at him in the baby’s almond-shaped eyes, in his brown skin, in the wispy black hair curling over his forehead and the thick eyelashes shadowing his cheeks.
He's Dillon’s son.
He’s Dillon’s son.
(an exploration of what happened during the time-skip, and the consequences that followed.)

Summary
“You're amazing, and smarter than you give yourself credit for, and really good at football—” Dillon continues, “oh, and how could I forget hot. Really hot. Like, smoking hot.”
Lucas claps a hand over Dillon’s mouth. The tips of his ears are burning red.
“Shut up.”
(Set after the 16th of May, during the weeks following Lucas and Dillon's first kiss.)
