Summary
It’s Kevin’s senior year at PSU, and things are…okay. But that changes when a single question from a nosy reporter sends his life spiraling. The descent is slow and maddening – memories and trauma from his past weave together to form the image of the man that stands there today. Eddie didn’t respond, he was debating on whether or not he should finally tell someone. He has been holding it in for a long time, and he needed to tell someone. But this was tía Pepa, this was someone who meant everything to him, and he couldn’t risk losing her. She was part of the reason he made it through his childhood. But if there was anyone that he wanted to tell, it would be her.
“I need to tell you something,” Eddie was serious, Pepa leaned in, knowing what Eddie was about to say was something she needed to listen to.
“Go ahead,” She encouraged.
