Summary
After a foolish mistake in his own classroom, Severus Snape battles his own feelings for a post-war Harry Potter. Knowing any sort of relationship with him, a Death Eater, would ruin Harry's image, he attempts to drink enough to forget. Try as he might, the feelings do not go away. Worse, Rita Skeeter gets her hands on a scandal. It doesn't take long for Severus's past pains to begin haunting him again. Bit by bit, it all falls apart. And still, he thinks of Harry.

Summary
Harry and his soulmate Severus Snape have found safe haven in an isolated cave to recover with the new Order after a horrendous loss at the Battle of Malfoy Manor. Among their company are a handful of Weasleys, a skilled herbologist Neville Longbottom, and a recently alive again Draco Malfoy. The past year has been difficult, but there is still work to be done. Lucius is running the Ministry. Dumbledore has vanished into the background. And the Dark Lord's whereabouts are completely unknown.
